Baking Soda and Salt:

This is an alternative use of baking soda in combination with salt. Make a solution of the two ingredients and rinse with it. It is very effective for teeth whitening. Just take care not to swallow the solution and remember to rinse your mouth thoroughly with water after use.

Eat an Apple:

An apple a day not only keeps the doctor away but it also gives you a whiter smile too. The combination of the mildly acidic and astringent qualities and the fibrous rough texture of the apple make it an effective teeth whitener.

This often ignored habit is actually more important to your oral health that you realize. Regular flossing will remove staining between your teeth and also promote your overall health. Make it a part of your daily routine.
